The best way to learn active trading without risking real money is to make real decisions and see what happens. This sprint gives you 5 real historical chart setups. At the right edge of each chart you choose Buy, Short, or Skip. Then the chart plays out and you see the return.

Sprint P&L 0.00%
Round 1 of 5

At the highlighted point, what do you do?

You have 5 rounds. Each round is one decision at the right edge of the chart.

How it works

  1. Each round shows a historical chart up to a single decision point.
  2. Choose Buy to go long from the decision point, Short to bet on a drop, or Skip to sit out.
  3. The next 5 candles are revealed and the round P&L is calculated.
  4. After 5 rounds, your total return is compared to a buy-and-hold return over the same periods.

Why this matters

Active trading is a game of relative performance:

  • Timing is the whole point — the user is trying to beat passive exposure.
  • Skipping bad setups protects capital, one of the most under-rated skills.
  • Shorting lets you profit from both sides of the market.

Tips

  • Don’t force trades. Skipping a choppy chart can be the best move.
  • Look for the trend, momentum, and whether price is near a key level.
  • Beating buy-and-hold consistently is harder than it looks — even pros struggle.
